Pragmatic Play Adds Multiplier-Driven Baccarat Table to Its Live Casino Lineup

Pragmatic Play has rolled out a new live baccarat title built around random multipliers and a high-payout side bet, the latest addition to a live casino portfolio the supplier has been steadily expanding.

The game, called Amazing Baccarat, takes the studio’s existing Speed Baccarat format as its base but layers in a multiplier mechanic the company is calling Lucky Cards. Core rules and pacing stay the same as traditional baccarat, so the change is additive rather than a reinvention of the format.

How the Multipliers Work

At the start of each round, five cards are randomly designated as Lucky Cards and given a multiplier value of up to 200x. If any of those cards end up in the winning hand, their multipliers stack and apply to the standard payout. Pragmatic Play says the mechanic can push main-bet wins as high as 6,600:1 — a considerably higher ceiling than standard baccarat payouts allow.

A New Side Bet Enters the Mix

Alongside the Lucky Cards feature, the release introduces a side bet called Amazing 8s, sitting next to the Player Pair and Banker Pair bets already familiar to baccarat regulars. The bet pays out when both the Player and Banker hands land on a tied score of eight, at odds of 55:1 before any multiplier is factored in. Once Lucky Card multipliers are applied on top, Pragmatic Play puts the maximum possible payout at 66,000:1.

Visually, the table is set against an underwater-themed backdrop, a departure from the more conventional studio sets used in the supplier’s earlier baccarat variants.

Part of a Broader Live Casino Push

The launch adds to what has become one of Pragmatic Play’s most active product categories. The supplier, which positions itself as a major content provider across the online gambling industry, has used live casino releases like this one to differentiate its lobby offering from competitors running more standard baccarat and roulette formats.

Sharon McHugh, the company’s Director of Public Relations, framed the release as a direct evolution of an existing fan favourite rather than a standalone experiment. “Amazing Baccarat takes the fast-paced gameplay players love from Speed Baccarat and enhances it with thrilling multipliers and exciting new side bet opportunities,” she said. “The addition of Lucky Cards and the Amazing 8s feature creates extra anticipation in every round, delivering a dynamic experience that stands out in live casino lobbies.”

Context: A Fast-Moving Content Pipeline

The baccarat launch lands against the backdrop of a release schedule Pragmatic Play has kept up for years: the company says it puts out as many as eight new slot titles a month, on top of its ongoing live casino output, all delivered to operators through a single API integration. Amazing Baccarat becomes the newest entry in that live casino line, joining the supplier’s existing Speed Baccarat and other tabled formats in operator lobbies.

As with all real-money casino games, Amazing Baccarat carries the standard age and responsible-gambling caveats: players must be 18 or over, and resources such as BeGambleAware.org are available for anyone concerned about their gambling habits.
